When Should We Use the “Like,Know,Trust” Factor for Profit?

When it comes to profit does the "like, know, trust" factor actually exist? Or maybe a better way to word that question is should we be concerned about it as our main focus?

And that is where this pep talk comes in. When it comes to running an online business we seem to be so focused on building that like, know, trust factor - and it’s not that that’s not important it definitely is - it’s just to sit there and have someone come on our list and then expect them to take 6-9 months before buying so we don’t have the confidence to tell them about our offers. Why do we need to have that narrative running our marketing? I don’t think that’s helping us. Or serving our clients or potential clients.

Don’t get me wrong - yes build the like, know, trust factor. It’s not like we’re throwing that out the window. Help them get to know you. Bring value to their lives. But don’t assume they aren’t ready to buy from you.
